Hier entsteht ein Nachschlagewerk für Helgoland-Liebhaber und alle, die gern Helgolands lebendige Geschichte/n durchstöbern möchten. In vielen Archiven, Bibliotheken und Privatsammlungen schlummern bisher unentdeckte Briefe, Dokumente, Studien, Zeitungsartikel, Bücher und Bilder über Helgoland. 9.000 Titel sind hier schon chronologisch erfasst - und auch, wo und wie sie zu finden und einzusehen sind.

    HELIGOLAND. The Hamburg papers state that a portion of the Helgoland Rock having been long undermined by the sea, had fallen and was engulphed in the sea. Out of 500 inhabitants 70 are said to have perished.
